Have just received news that bricks will start next week and plaster not until end of January. Seems they can't make up their mind what to do first! Temporary fencing magically appeared last week. Wish we didn't have to have it. Feels a bit unecessary given that we have permanent fences on 2 out of 3 sides anyway. They have buzzed back and padded out a lot of the studs to straighten the walls, but doesn't look like our ss has checked them yet as there's no pink paint anywhere. Hot water service pipes are in too. Would be very exciting to see some bricks. We're hopeful!!

Bad Chris not letting you take a brick :( I took one of ours :) If they are one short at the end I'll give it back to them :)
ReplyDeleteYay for your bricking starting next week! Ours looks like it'll start Monday. Maybe along with your neighbour... Henley are now also doing ours at the same timeline as yours hehehe
haha. Yeah it looks like they're trying to push both our places to lock up before xmas so they can get us to pay that hefty invoice and the $ sits in their account over xmas and jan, rather than in ours. Cheeky monkeys! Oh well. Progress is never a bad thing.
ReplyDeleteI'll go house visiting Monday to see if either of us have bricks :-)
