Picked up the blinds for the front of the house from Spotlight today. Took the garage one out of the bubble wrap to check the size/fit. Absolutely perfect to the millimetre! Pretty happy with how they look. Will look even better with the proper timber piece covering the metal at the top I think. No other progress on the house so this is all the excitement we could get.
They look great Fel, I love them! I think this is what we will look at for the rest of our place too. Were these ones custom made for your windows as well? They have done a great job with the measurements :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! Very happy with them. They are custom made as well. The measuring girl uses a laser thingy to measure the windows- it's pretty accurate! They're not real timber- I wanted the timber-look ones because they don't absorb any moisture and hence the dust doesn't stick to them. I'm trying to talk my brother into getting them for his new place because we're so happy with the price and how they turned out. He's accused me of having shares in Spotlight because I keep banging on about it. haha. Being a boy, he doesn't care two hoots about blinds!
